HydraulICALLY INSTANT WATER HEATER vs.
fully electronically instant water heater
The technology of a fully electronically instant water heater is developed to work more efficient than hydraulically controlled instant water heaters.
The comparison was made between the fully electronically instant water heater DSX (flow rate of 8l/min with an exact temperature of 38°C) and a hydraulic instant water heater 21 kW with a necessary mixed-water for 38°C of 11.6 l/min used in a 3-person-household with parameter as follows:
Daily use per person: 4 min
Inlet temperature: 12°C
Days of use: 330 days
Electricity price per kWh: 0.25 €
Costs for water and sullage: 4.30 € per m3
By using fully electronically instant water heaters there can be a saving of 160 € per year compared to hydraulically controlled instant water heaters. A heater replacement is therefore more than worth-it because installation costs are charged off early.
