ISH 2009: Huge interest generated by CLAGE’s concept for increasing the energy efficiency of instantaneous water heaters
CLAGE show-cased its highly impressive concept for
increasing the efficiency of instantaneous water
heaters at its first-class stand in Hall 8.0 throughout
this year’s ISH (the world's leading trade fair for bathroom,
building, energy, air-conditioning, renewable energies in
Frankfurt/Main). The new CX series of under-sink instant-
aneous water heaters are a special innovation; these were
specially developed for installing in the kitchen and proved
a magnet for visitor interest. The aesthetic, elegantly formed
lines and the reduction in width and height of the appliance
housing by 4cm respectively ensure the design of the new
series appeals to the eye at first sight. It also ensures the
under-sink appliances easily fit in the confined space below
the sink – and what is more, a simplified installation concept
makes installation child’s play.
The new solar collector SCM 215 with which CLAGE has now
entered the promising sector of renewable energies represented
a further highlight. By utilizing the warmth of the sun as free
source of energy the highly efficient solar collector with a new
light-weight design offers the user outstanding benefits and
an optimised level of energy efficiency for a warm water and/or
heating system. To this end an animation of the functional
principle illustrated the concept of using electronically controlled
instantaneous water heaters to heat up the water to the required
temperature as, when and where required.
Further innovations included the electronically controlled instant
boiling water heaters as well as the smart sensor-controlled tap
'lumino', which in conjunction with the electronic instantaneous water
heater MDX 7 is not only very easy on the eye but also very inexpensively
supplies warm water to wash basins: an LED light ring unambiguously
indicates to the user the selected water temperature on a colour scale
ranging from blue to red.
