Embedded Software Developer (m/w/d)

to join our dynamic R&D team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing architectures and programming code for our instantaneous water heater microcontrollers. This role involves working closely with our engineering and testing team to create innovative solutions that enhance the performance and functionality of our products.

This position offers flexibility in work location. Candidates have the option to work in our office located in Lüneburg, Germany, or remotely from home. Our goal is to support a balanced and adaptable working environment that meets the needs of our team members while ensuring the highest standards of productivity and collaboration.

Diese Aufgaben erwarten Sie:

1. Design and develop robust and scalable software architectures
2. Program high-quality, object-oriented code in C++ for embedded systems
3. Conduct thorough testing of software and functions to ensure reliability and efficiency
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and integrate software solutions seamlessly
5. Create and maintain comprehensive software documentation, ensuring it meets the company's standards and facilitates future maintenance and enhancements
6. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in embedded software development to continually improve our product offering

Das bringen Sie mit:

1. Proven experience in embedded software development, preferably in the home appliances or similar industry
2. Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming in C++17 
3. Experience with software testing, debugging, and validation techniques
4. Familiarity with embedded systems hardware and understanding of hardware/software integration
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with both technical team members
