The Lueneburger manufacturer CLAGE exhibited under the motto “SIMPLY EFFICIENT” with a new logo and new corporate design. The new E-instantaneous water heater DSX Touch was presented as product innovation. The easy operation via touch display and the transparent consumption data inspired the visitors. The touch display provides a quick and easy way of setting user profiles with different desired temperatures, defining economy targets and personal requirements. The touch display allows the playful use of personal consumption values and turns water- and energy-saving to a breeze for young and old, without neglecting comfort and wellness. Thereby the DSX Touch was fully in trend with the ISH.
For those who prefer to have the instantaneous water heaters out of sight, there is the Smart Control solution by using an iPad or the proven remote control. The Smart Control system was introduced two years ago and has been successfully introduced into the market. A home server serves as the central interface to the E-instantaneous water heaters with own built up WLAN to provide its features independent from the existing infrastructure. With that, Smart Control provides the ideal networking for E-instantaneous water heaters in the house or apartment and enables the practical separation of hot water heating and central heating.
But CLAGE goes one step further. The E-instantaneous water heaters of CLAGE can also be connected to the KNX bus system. So that they are compatible with the established bus system of the building automation. For those, who want to control the E-instantaneous water heater not only via iPad, can use the existing KNX home automation system to communicate with the E-instantaneous water heaters. Also here the CLAGE home server is the central interface through which the new KNX-gateway communicates. The cross linking via modern building technology and therewith the becoming increasingly transparent energy efficiency is not only a big topic at CLAGE, but was also a key topic at the ISH.
Various instantaneous electronic water heaters for hand-wash basins, kitchen sinks and bathrooms could be tested in function by the visitors at the CLAGE booth. Special interest applied to the "MCX BLUE" - probably the world’s most energy-efficient hot water system for hand-wash basins. The MCX BLUE unit combines innovative tap technology with an energy-efficient mini instant water heater as a system solution for supplying hot water to public, industrial and private washrooms.
The interest in the CLAGE innovations was big and CLAGE counted a considerable large number of visitors. Particular the lounge area at the back of the booth was very popular. In the lounge area boiling water for hot drinks and chilled filtered water (also sparkling water) could be directly tapped from the new drinking water system Zip HydroTap®. Good conversations could be held with a refreshing drink. CLAGE Managing Director, Joachim Gerdes summed up: "For us, as a specialist of decentralized hot water supply, the fair was a great success."
